MOD Stafford are once again entering a team of soldiers into the Virgin London Marathon. Led by WO1 Bill Sykes, the team is made up of experienced and novice endurance runners who aim to complete the challenge in combats, boots whilst 20kg of weight in military backpacks.

The team will be wearing the brand new Trion:Z DUO LOOPS to help them achieve their goals

The overall aim of the challenge is to raise funds for the Royal British Legion as well as improving team cohesion and fitness. Bill Sykes is no stranger to competing in endurance events having completed the race last year as well as running in 7 other marathons and numerous half marathons including the annual event held at Camp Bastion in Afghanistan. The team also consists of Cpl Steven Daniels and LCpl Billy Jervis (who ran the event last year) and Cpl Andy Beddow who is a new addition to the group. We also have Capt Si Nicholson and Sgt Brad McCallum who are running in trainers.
